The given BuiltInCategory value must be valid according to Category.IsBuiltInCategoryValid(BuiltInCategory) .

Exceptions

Exception Condition
Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions ArgumentException categoryId is not a valid built-in category. See Category.IsBuiltInCategoryValid(BuiltInCategory).
